Lindsay Young was born in San Antonio, Texas. She spent the majority of her upbringing performing in local community theater, choir, and coffee shops (with her guitar).  With a musical career in mind, she attended Southern Methodist University where she then decided to pursue medicine. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and minors in pre-medical studies and music (with a concentration in voice), and then went on to attend the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

She quickly knew that Otolaryngology was a great fit and she spent the next 5 years at UT Southwestern and Parkland hospital as an ENT resident.  She moved to Austin once she completed her training, and has been practicing here ever since. She was recently elected as a “rising star” Super Doctor of Otolaryngology in Texas Monthly magazine, July 2016.  She is excited to be joining Trey and Rob as the newest addition to ENT Specialists of Austin.

Lindsay and her husband, Reagan, and have a son and daughter. She also has a mixed breed dog, Mr. Pickles. She enjoys exercise, yoga, travel, and music!
